On 9th February CEnSE Member Miquel Correa succesfully presented his final seminar

CEnSE Member Miquel Correa successfully presented Final seminar on his thesis topic: "Proximity, mobility and sustainability: three regional studies with microeconomic foundations."

He examines how exposure to Work from Home (WFH) contributes to out-migration
decisions of the working-age population of large cities in Sweden. Studying the
effects of remote work on migration is important because this employment
arrangement is becoming increasingly common, as highlighted by the
management of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Discussant was Rickard Eriksson from Umeå University.
