    Marie Ernsth Bravell Marie Ernsth Bravell, associate professor of gerontology, has been appointed dean and Managing Director of the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University. She will start on 1 July 2020.

    Jerker Moodysson started as Dean and Managing Director at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) at Jönköping University in August 2016.After the formal reappointment process has been conducted, it has now been decided that Jerker Moodysson will continue as Dean and Managing Director at JIBS for four more years.

  • Three projects promoting the health and activity of elderly people awarded with Aktiestinsen scholarships


    On 22 January grants worth a total of SEK 260,000 were awarded to three projects aimed at promoting elderly people's activity and health. The scholarships are donated by the “Aktiestinsen”-foundation and were awarded at a ceremony at the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University.

    Three students studying a Subject teacher master programme at the School of Education and Communication (HLK) at Jönköping University responded to an advertisement from the Sanda high school in Jönköping. It was Carin Rosjö, principal at the high school who advertised for students who wanted to tutor high school students.

    I en ny studie har forskare vid Hälsohögskolan, Jönköping University och Lunds universitet undersökt alla suicidfall som anmäldes enligt Lex Maria till Inspektionen för vård och omsorg (IVO) under 2015. Resultaten visar att brister i sjukvården anses ha varit en bidragande faktor i 55% av fallen.
