  • 51.6 million SEK for research and education in foundry technology

Just over 15 years ago, Magnus Wessén and Haiping Cao, researchers at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University (JU), patented a type of rheocasting called the RheoMetal process. This has since led to a close collaboration between JU and several Chinese universities, the establishment of several foundries both in Sweden and China, and commercialisation of the process that has gained a lot of interest.
  • 24 hours live broadcast from glass cage on campus


    Anis Don Demina, Brita Zackari och Oscar Zia On Tuesday 14 December at 10:00, the student committee “Radio K”, a branch of the student association LOK under the School of Education and Communication, will start broadcasting live from a glass cage on campus. They will broadcast live for 24 hours during the event "Radio K Bryr Sig (Radio K Cares) x Jönköping Student Union" and the goal is to raise money for Musikhjälpen (Music Aid).
  • The School of Engineering awarded international accreditation


    The School of Engineering in a meeting with ACEEU. The School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University is awarded the accreditation Engaged University by the international organization ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities). In three categories, JTH receives the highest rating "Excellent".
  • Jönköping International Business School ranked among Europe's best business schools by the Financial Times


    On Monday, 6 December, the Financial Times (FT) published its European Business Schools Ranking 2021, featuring the top 95 Business Schools in Europe. For the first time, Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) at Jönköping University appears on the list.
  • JU students developed new support function for IKEA armchair


    In early November, IKEA launched an armchair with a completely new function, which makes it easier to sit down and stand up. The function is based on a concept that was developed by students in the master programme Industrial Design at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University (JU).
  • International collaboration on racism in healthcare


    Picture of a digital meeting with frames of persons A collaborative project on the topic of racism in healthcare is currently being carried out between the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University (JU), Uppsala University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). Through online seminars, specialist nursing students are reflecting on both their own and others’ experiences of racism within healthcare and discussing how the issue can be addressed. The collaboration also forms part of a separate research project.
  • Student association JUSTICE E-sports competed during Dreamhack
