New institute opened at Jönköping University

Today, a new institute at the School of education and communication, called Skolchefsinstitutet, was inaugurated. The purpose of the institute is to strengthen superintendents (Sw. skolchefer) in their leadership.

The inauguration was opened by Håkan Sörman, governor of the region of Jönköping. In connection with the opening, a two-day conference is held on the theme “To lead complex operations”.

The new institute was initiated by Jönköping University, FoU Skola at Kommunförbundet Skåne and Föreningen för Sveriges skolchefer.
