Open House at JUE and campus Gränna
On 5 May, Jönköping University Enterprise (JUE) is inviting those who are interested to visiting Campus Gränna and learn more about the programmes and activities there. This is the first time an Open House event has been held at JUE since its inception in 2016.
Jönköping University Enterprise (JUE) conducts teaching within Jönköping University (JU). JUE's primary mission is to offer Pathway Programmes for international students who need to deepen their language, mathematics, and/or science skills to meet the requirements required for higher education. The goal of the Pathway Programmes is to prepare students for a life in Sweden and provide them with the best possible base for further higher studies at JU, other Swedish universities or at one of their partnerschools – BI Norwegian Business School and North Park University. The activities are conducted at JU's Campus Gränna, on the same premises as the boarding school Grennaskolan, and on the university’s campus in Jönköping.
"We've been in Gränna for almost six years. Our students are a natural part of city life in the town, and the business is well established. Despite this, we believe that many people do not really know who we are and this beautiful, old Grennaskolan is now used for. Together with Campus Gränna, which owns and manages the properties, we look forward to presenting our activities to a broader public," says Johan Palsgård, Managing Director and Dean at JUE.
Spend a great afternoon at Campus Gränna
The day will start off with a program for specially invited guests. After that, a graduation ceremony will take place for the students who are graduating during the spring. Between 15:00 and 18:00, Campus Gränna is then open to the interested public.
"We warmly welcome everyone! We look forward to finally showing the fantastic facilities and telling you more about the business we conduct. Come mingle, have a fika and a walk in our beautiful orchard, take part in a guided tour and a quiz, and have a go at shuffleboard or our air hockey table. And not least – meet our students," says Josipa Morén, operative manager and head of education at JUE.
