Spring Inspiration 2024 was a success - in a new venue
On Saturday 13 April, it was time for this year's arrangement of Scandinavia's largest student-run fashion show. The event was organized by the Jönköping International Business School’s (JIBS) student association for the 27th time and it also involved students from the other schools at Jönköping University (JU).
At 18:30 on Saturday evening, the doors to Science Park Towers opened and nearly 360 expectant visitors were welcomed into the entrance to mingle and socialize for a while before the fashion show started at 20:00.
The theme of the fashion show was "The Four Elements", with a clear focus on second-hand and reused clothing. The evening featured a variety of clothing styles from twelve shops and designers and a twelve metre long catwalk.

Science Park Towers – new for the project team
In previous years, the fashion show has taken place at Elmia, where the large premises and experience of event organization have attracted the organizers of Spring Inspiration. This year's project group chose to try something new in terms of venue and decided to try Science Park Towers.
Project managers Maksymilian Witczak and Stina Sjöstrand have been planning Spring Inspiration for almost a year and are very pleased with the results.
“The evening has gone well! The models were very good, our project team has worked perfectly, and the visitors appreciated the central location and the new venue,” says Maksymilian.
Interest in joining the project has been high, with over 100 applications from people wanting to model. In addition to the search for models, almost 90 students applied to join the project team, resulting in an organization where 22 students have been involved in marketing, logistics, media, and project planning.
