    Why do retail firms in Sweden started by women tend to be smaller and grow less than those started by men? This will be investigated in a new research project led by Lucia Naldi, Professor in Business Administration at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS).

  • Dental care staff found lacking when treating children with Down syndrome


    Parents of children with Down's Syndrome feel that dental staff often lack competence in dealing with children that have the genetic condition. It is also felt that the staff often lack knowledge of alternative methods of communication, such as using pictures and signs as forms of communication support. This has been revealed from a survey conducted by researchers at the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University (JU).

  • Successful workshops on case teaching in in Africa


    In 2020, STINT awarded Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) and Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) a grant to conduct a series of case teaching and case writing workshops in six African countries. The project has been running successfully since then. In early October, Anders Melander and Olof Brunninge from JIBS conducted workshops in Addis Ababa and Nairobi with Andrew Schenkel from SSE.
