COproduction VALUE creation in healthcare service (CO-VALUE): An international multi-center mixed-methods research protocol for the exploration, articulation and assessment of a model of value creation in systems of coproduced healthcare services

Launched in 2019, CO-VALUE is an international multi-center mixed-methods study which runs in parallel to the ICoHN Value Creating Business Model Community of Practice (cross-link to VCBM CoP page here?) and is currently planned as a three-year/three-phase study aiming to develop an assessment process for coproduction value creation in healthcare systems: (1) Year 1: Develop a prototype self-assessment guide for the assessment of coproduction value creation in healthcare systems; (2) Year 2: Qualitative pilot and user testing of the self-assessment guide in multiple health systems; and (3) Year 3: Development and pilot testing of a prototype quantitative coproduction value creation measures set in multiple health systems.
