JIBS Entrepreneurship Challenge

JIBS organises an annual student competition to inspire entrepreneurship and creativity. The competition is designed to foster cross-disciplinary thinking and teamwork among students from Jönköping International Business School and the School of Engineering.

Each year, a different company is invited to present a real-world challenge they are facing. The teams then have 24 hours to develop a solution and prepare a pitch to present it. On the final day, they pitch their ideas to a jury.

The best pitches advance to a grand final, open to all students and faculty. The winning team and runners-up receive prizes totaling up to 130,000 SEK.

Aktiestinsen

JIBS Entrepreneurship Challenge is funded by a donation from the Lennart "Aktiestinsen" Israelsson Foundation. Lennart Israelsson, born in 1916, made his fortune by investing in stocks. He bought his first stock in 1946 for SEK 600, and at its peak, the value of his portfolio grew to over 140 million SEK!
