How do I pay the Application Fee?

For students who must pay an application fee, there are different options depending on where you submit your application.

The application fee should be paid at the time of submitting the application.

Application submitted directly to Jönköping University

When completing the application form at the JU website, clicking "Next" will send you to a payment page where you can pay the application fee with a Visa or Mastercard.

Application to Jönköping University through University Admissions

You should follow the instructions given at University Admissions External link, opens in new window. when it comes to paying the application fee to them.

Application fee paid at University Admissions

If you have applied to other universities in Sweden for the same study start and paid the application fee at University Admissions, you should check the box for "Prepayment" and upload a receipt of the payment to University Admissions.

I do not have a Visa or Mastercard

If you do not have a Visa or Mastercard to pay the application fee, you should check the box "Pre-payment" and submit your application (by clicking the "Next"-button).

Reply to the confirmation message that is automatically sent to your email address and explain that you cannot pay the application fee by card. You will then receive information about what other option there is.
