Prediction and validation of corrosion resistance
Aluminium is known to be a metal that is resistant to corrosion, but when we work with aluminium alloys this is not always true. Alloying elements are added to Al to increase the mechanical performances, but can be detrimental to the durability of the metal.
Therefore, either when you use metal substrate or you use any surface finishing to protect the surface, it is important to test their behaviour in order to predict the durability.
In this webinar, we will focus on understanding how materials durability can be tested and how effective standardized tests are in predicting durability of metals or surface finishing into the real environment.
