Ann-Christine is Associate Professor and holds a position as senior lecturer and researcher at Jönköping Academy for Improvement of Health and Welfare, School of Health and Welfare. She teaches and supervises students in the master program Quality Improvement and Leadership of Health and Welfare. She is also an Associate Professor in Care Science at Malmö University.

Ann-Christine’s research is interdisciplinary within the area of Quality Improvement research, and includes organizational perspectives and introduction of new regulations and collaboration, as well as more person-centered research about co-production and co-design. She is supervising PhD students from different fields, leadership and adult development, learning and sensemaking, national quality registers research, migration and introduction and use of e-health systems in psychiatry, all focusing on quality improvement and improvement science research.

Ann-Christine is an engaged lecturer, both inside the University, towards other universities and external organizations and authorities. She has international contacts and experiences through her work with a MOOC in cooperation with the NHS in UK.

Ann-Christine defended her thesis: Quality Improvement in Healthcare: Experiences from a Swedish County Council Initiative, 2013 at the institute of technology, Linköping University.
