Joakim Andersson

Joakim Andersson has a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Emergency Care and a Degree of
Master of Science in Caring Science with Specialization in Nursing and works 50% clinically in the ambulance service in Region Jönköping. Joakim is a part-time doctoral student in Health and Care Sciences at the Research School of Health and Welfare.

The focus of the doctoral project is based on the national quality register AmbuReg, with an emphasis on quality and patient safety in prehospital care. The overall aim is to describe ambulance assignments and the patient population in Sweden, and to evaluate the quality and usefulness of a national quality register for the development of Swedish ambulance care.
