Strong international recruitment results at Jönköping University

Jönköping University is very successful in its recruitment of international students. Recent figures show an increase with over fifty per cent since last year. The average figure for Swedish universities is five per cent.

The recruitment of international students at Jönköping University has been very successful. Figures from a recent report from the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education show that there is an increase with fifty per cent compared to last year. The average figure for Swedish universities is five per cent.

Anita Hansbo, President of Jönköping University, is happy with the results and sees these figures as recognition of a job well done when it comes to international recruitment.

In 2010, the Swedish parliament passed a bill on charging tuition fees for students outside EU / EEA from 2011.
