Hybrid teaching opens up new teaching opportunities, such as reaching new student groups and contributing to flexible learning. But for teaching to work well, pedagogy needs to be designed in a way that activates and engages students, both on campus and online, and supports learning, inclusion and collaboration across spatial and analog-digital boundaries.
The workshop focuses on work with hybrid teaching that involves learning centres.
The workshop gives you the opportunity to design hybrid teaching in your own subject and try working with this in one of JU's hybrid rooms. You get to experience both being a teacher and being a student of your colleagues during the to get a chance to experience different perspectives on opportunities and challenges.
The workshop is based on an introductory theoretical seminar Hybrid and blended teaching - teaching in different modes for increased flexibility. To get the most out of the workshop, you should also attend the seminar.
