How can I influence my education?

At JU, we conduct regular educational evaluations in various forms. You as a student have an important role in the quality work as it actively influences the development of JU's education courses and programmes. Thank you for making your voice heard!

Evaluations take place at different levels and as a student you can influence at different times.

Course evaluation

Course evaluations are carried out at the end of the course in accordance with the rules laid down by the schools (see Regulations for education and doctoral programmes). The teacher in charge of the course is responsible for ensuring that this is done. Participation in course evaluations is anonymous in relation to the teacher/examiner. Each school has decided which questions to include in the course evaluation.

At JU, course evaluations are handled automatically in a common system, Sunet Survey. Information is retrieved from Ladok and KursInfo. Examination results also contribute to an overall course evaluation. Course evaluations are an important instrument for continuous development.

JU uses UKÄ's guidelines for course evaluation (in Swedish) External link, opens in new window.

Programme evaluation

Programme evaluations are carried out at school level within the programme councils where appropriate measures can be proposed.

The Student Barometer

At JU level, the Student Barometer and the International Student Barometer (ISBSB) are evaluations aimed at students during their studies. The ISBSB collects valuable information that provides a picture of the student's overall study situation, including elements such as support, accommodation and learning.
